ISIF is my tribute to the widely appreciated D+, 250, Ross Distortion, etc. circuit.
ISIF + is a tormented basic circuit supplemented with an LM301 IC, symmetrical/asymmetrical red LED clipping diodes, and expanded frequency range for lower tunings while still being fully functional in standard ranges.
ISIF ++ is an expanded version of the + featuring a fully active 3 band EQ to more precisely deliver your ideal tone to your amp. To remedy the relatively low output above unity that plagued the original circuit, an op-amp buffer has been placed at the end of the circuit to deliver the volume you require. As well as working well with low tunings, ++ also utilizes a symmetrical red LED clipping section.
